I still contend that for many people on Neanderthin, the amount of fiber is
not adequate. You might think about a fiber supplement, especially a
soluble fiber supplement. I wasn't on Neanderthin at the time, but my
supplement brought down my cholesterol, LDL, and raised HDL. Lowered
triglycerides, too.

Although early man may have been everything from nearly 100% carnivorous to
nearly 100% vegetarian, according to where he was living, I presume he
usually ate a lot of meat but also a lot of vegetable matter, like many
hunter-gatherers today. And the vegetable matter that was eaten thousands
of years ago had much more fiber than our genetically altered vegetable
matter today. Fiber may be an important but forgotten part of Neanderthin.
