Baldness is interesting in that from what I have read and observed, it
occurs in all ethnic groups, although maybe not to the same extent.  This
isn't based on research, so tell me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, I would assume it was present before the split of the races and
ethnic groupings, and maybe has some survival benefits (can't think of any)
