My daughter has had nightwaking abdominal pain now for about 2 years, at
first we thought it was linked to her dairy allergies, but now that she
has been off dairy for a year, it is still continuing. She wakes up about
2 hours after sleeping with horrible pains in her stomach. I hold my hand
on it for comfort and feel alot of rumbling going on. It takes about
30-45 minutes for the pain to subside. She is not having gas with it nor
is she having problems with contipation, we are just at our wits end. We
have taken her on countless doctor visits without much help. It seems
like she is not digesting her food, but it doesn't happen on any
regularity or predictability. I have logged countless sheets of paper, and
seen allergists repeatedly who always send me away saying these are not
typical allergy symptoms. They always happen at night!
Her food allergies, seem to be under control. She is three
years old and otherwise has been very healthy.
Thanks,
Jill
