Chris is looking for Snickerdoodle recipes. I got this from Marilyn. They
are delicious!
> SNICKERDOODLES

> l cup shortening (can use Crisco butter flavored)
> 1-1/2 cups sugar
> Cream on low speed.

> Add to above and continue mixing until smooth.

> Remove from mixer and divide into walnut sized pieces.
> Shape into balls - roll them in a mixture of cinnamon sugar
> (2 tsp. sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon) and place about 2" apart on
> an ungreased cookie sheet. Slightly flatten them. Bake at
> 400 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes being VERY careful
> NOT to over bake. These cookies should not have any color to them.
