I sent this message to another list, but I wanted to ask here, too, since
the more people I ask, the better the likelihood I will find an answer.

Hi,

I wrote before asking a modem question. Now, I think the problem might
not be the modem, but I don't really know what it is. I am trying to
download a copy of Window-Eyes 2.1 zip file that I got from the G.W. Micro
FTP site. It seemed to download to my home directory just fine. But,
when I try to download to my commo-dl directory, it tells me that there
are some kind of errors. It mentioned two things, but I only remember
one; a timeout error. Than, a few minutes later it cancelled.

I thought it was something with my provider, so I sent a message to them
asking. I'm not to optomistic about receiving a good answer though, since
they don't offer unix shell support.

If anyone can offer any suggestion of what the problem might be and how I
can correct it, I'd very much appreciate it.
Cindy
