Cathy,

I use the Brita and it is _great_. I have recommended it to a lot of
people and everyone loves it. The filters cost about $7 and last 35
gallons, which in our case is about 3 weeks. The taste is great and the
supposedly lab tested claims say it does remove most lead, chlorine,
etc.
