In a message dated 98-08-19 20:58:44 EDT, you write:

<< From looking at raw foods web sites, it seems that people who eat ~75% raw
claim to be "raw foodists". Is this the generally accepted number? >>

It seems to be a good number to follow unless you want to go all the way all
the time. It allows for the organs to rest, detox, etc, especially if certain
days are all raw. If all you ate was raw plant matter and meat cooked over an
open fire, you'd be doing a pretty good imitation of a hunter/gatherer diet
(save for some cooked veggies).
