I think they're fine, in general, though be careful not to eat too much
winter squash, as they tend to be higher in carbohydrates.

I dunno... I've been eating green beans on Atkins, and have been doing
fine... I must have missed that part of Neanderthin.

Peas have a lot of sugar in them, so are not advisable for low-carb
dieters.  But they superficially would seem to meet the qualifications for
a Neanderthin food.  Ray?
