I mentioned the Daniel Quinn books in an earlier post: Ishmael, The Story of
B (I said Q before), and My Ishmael. I liked My Name is Chellis, and I in
Recovery from Western Civilization by Chellis Glendinning as well. Also
there is an interesting article in the March-April issue of the Utne Reader
about a subsistence hunter (and cultural anthropologist) living on the North
Pacific coast: The Hunt: Wrestling with the Guilty Pleasures of Life in the
Wild.
Does anyone have a source for The Paleolithic Prescription? I find that it is
out of print.
