My son is almost six.  We had the same problem.  Then we showed him
pee-wee herman and "Arnold".

In pee-wee's movie, he would not eat anything.  Arnold eats lots and lots
of meat.

We had to go on about super heroes, ninjas, policemen, etc.  But you can
probably skip that part.

Check the carb level on the raisin bran compared to captain crunch.  From
the top of my head, it goes like this:

                  carbs        sugar carbs    fiber carbs

Captain Crunch     20               8             2

Raisin bran        40              25             6
