Hi,

>Why wouldn't you eat shrimp raw. Raw shrimp is the main way we make sushi
>(with the rice, though). But the raw shrimp has a good taste.

I used to eat in sashimi, (good with wasabi!) and shrimp, however learning
that the Puget Sound is one of the most polluted waterways in North America,
I quit.
I have read a lot about radioactive waste that has been dropped off the
coasts of North America and of high mercury levels in fish. There are also
the cancer ridden deformed fish that grow in the Great Lakes area and
experimental farmed salmon that are similarly genetically defected in BC.
I don't mean to rain on the parade, but isn't fish dangerous?

Thanks for a great list!
