I just received a letter from the "Nature's Path" Representative,
after asking for information on the source of the vanilla used in
their "Honey'd Corn Flakes" (which are prominently marked GF on
their box). I don't feel they are GF, personally.
The Representative said the vanilla does contain alcohol that
is from a glutenous grain, but they claim the "heat" during manufacturing
dissipates the alcohol, taking the gluten with it.
Anyone who would like a copy of the Nature's Path response, please let
me know.
