Celiac researchers have reminded us several times on our List that our
bodies are not accurate gluten-meters ... there are many false positives
and false negatives.
Bill, you may be correct .. there may be gluten in the peanut butter.
However, there are many non-celiac reasons which could also have
caused your problems, including viral, bacteria, and food allergy.
Before assuming that a reaction is "definitely" from hidden gluten, they
remind us that it is best to check with the manufacturer again, and
consider other possible sources of the problem.
