I have written a number of posts about Burger King's fries in the past, and
thought it best to obtain an update from Kim Miller, our List's liaison at
Burger King. The following only applies for the United States.

Kim said the coated fries which are being rolled out nationwide are the
same ones which have been tested for the past few months. They were the
subject of a long prior post, but basically they are free of gluten, casein
and eggs. Kim said they were specifically designed with food allergies in
mind.

Kim added that it has been many months since the earlier gluten-coated
fries were discontinued and it would be highly unlikely that any remained
at their units. As always, there is the possibility of gluten
cross-contamination if the local unit does not follow company policy on
segregation of frying oil between the French fries and the breaded
products.
