I have a husband who has CD even though the biopsy was negative. He has
a pretty bad case of DH along with other symptoms. The problem is my
husband is in denial. I am the one who reads the posts on the internet,
reads the labels, makes the Dr. visits, reads on the disease. He does not
feel well most of the time, he is aloof, acts odd, and is now starting
to have some impotency problems, also has Diabetes which is dormant,
anemia, vision problems. I don't know what to do for him. I see him
slipping away from life. It is causing me great anxiety and our marriage
is suffering a great deal. I have tried to detach and let him take
responsibility for his life and disease but it is not working. I am in
my early 40's and my husband is not quite 50. Is there anyone who has
experienced these difficulties and could offer some advice. I feel if he
isn't stricter with his eating habits he will end up with a much more
serious problem. Thanks in advance.
