Two more people responded on catfish after the last summary:

*Fish in general reply: Any fish, fresh or frozen should not smell fishy
if it is fresh. And it should not have a strong fishy taste either. I
gave up on supermarket fish (fresh, frozen, even the mrs. paul's type
when I could eat it) after getting sick on some, it didn't smell or
taste like fresh fish should. Now, I only eat our own catch of trout or
salmon from the store, it is whole and fast frozen on the ships that catch
it. And fish are definitely what they eat. Wild trout eating shrimp
taste a lot different that those farm raised eating trout chow. No
comparison.*

*I wonder if makes a difference that the catfish swim in grain "enriched"
water and the chickens don't? Just a thought.*

So, the catfish are not only eating the grain, but breathing it and
soaking in it=21
