Concern has been expressed about cows consuming gluten from feed sources
with the possibility of the gluten appearing in milk or meat. Dairy and
beef cows as well as other farm animals may consume wheat in various
forms as well as other cereal grains. However, the gluten in these
cereal grains is broken down in the animal's digestive system.
Absorption of the gluten molecule and its incorporation into milk or
meat is biologically impossible.
