Hello No-Milk Folks,

Has anyone ever seen any studies stating the percentage of kids with food
allergies that are allergic to milk?

FAN states that 5% of US kids have food allergies. And that of the top 8
allergens milk is number 1. I also have a reseach study that estimates the
number of kids with food allergies to be 8%. But I used 5%,to be
conservative, for my figures.

The U.S. Census Bureau  puts the estimated number of children from 0-14 at
58 million (actual number 57,823,000) as of May '97. 5% of that number is
2.8 Million kids (actual number 2,891,150).
