I have just newly resumed reading this group and I'm hoping you can help me.
I have a 21 month old daughter who is allergic to milk, eggs, and citrus.
She is gaining very little weight and actually has lost some weight over the
past month. (She has gained a total of 14 ounces during the past 5 months.)
She is very small for her age. (Currently she is 20 pounds, 11 ounces.)
The doctor would like to put her on something like Boost or Carnation
instant Breakfast, but I think all of those products contain milk in them.
Does anyone know of similar products that do not contain milk or have
suggestions for other high-calorie foods that I could try?
She has been drinking rice milk, but the doctor suggested trying soy. Will
that provide more calories?
Thanks for your help!
