This is a summary for my question of the correlation, perhaps, of stress
and diarrhea in the CD population. Thanks to each of you for your kind
response.
Of the 30 responses:
13 believe and appears to be proven in their own lives that there is a
direct correlation between stress and diarrhea in CD. Some diarrhea
being during or immediately following a stressful time and some having
delayed diarrhea. Some having the BIG D once, some having IT several
times.
4 responded that perhaps the intestinal tract is not completely healed.
Give it more time, always stay gf.
3 responded that there must be gluten somewheres. Check my diet.
3 responded that perhaps there is another allergy such as egg, dairy,
soy, corn, or sorbitol.
3 suggested the following therapies: 1 tsp of metamucil every day; a
homeopathic remedy called GELSEMIUM 30C 2 pills under tongue as needed;
paregoric 1 tsp PRN.
(I am not recommending any of these therapies nor the dosages, I'm just
summarizing what was responded to me.)
1 suggested that there could be another undiagnosed problem.
1 responder has diarrhea that is associated with her menstral cycle.
1 suggested IBS
1 stated that meals that are large,or that contain greasy food or alot of
fiber give them diarrhea. Smaller, non-fat meals several times a day
were their solution.
Thanks again
