I am writing for a friend. Her daughter has severe Celiac and has Down
Syndrome had a cardiac episode at school yesterday.  She experienced chest
pain, faintness and cardiac arrhytmia.  The cardiologist has her on a
monitor. He told the mother that he thought he very recently read in a
journal about a connection between celiac and cardiac problems. He cannot
recall the journal. Is anyone familiar with this connection?
