Heres the summary of replies i got from my query about symptom relpase
after going GF for a short time.
I would also like to thank everyone who replied, your comments have put
my mind at ease.
Going GF makes you more sensitive to gluten, so tiny amounts give you a
relapse (4 people)
Gluten ingestion still occuring - check all foods and resturants (5
people)
Symptoms are possibly due to impared digestion rather than gluten
reaction, people have reactions to foods for around six months after going
GF, foods which are a problem are;
fruit (1 person)
lactose (dairy) (2 people)
peanuts (1 person)
milk protein/soy protein/egg protein/corn (1 person)
The development of colagenous colitis and/or imflamation of the large
intestine could give similar symptoms to gluten ingestion.
So long and thanks for all the fish ...
