I have a wonderful insurance company and have really come to appreciate it
I have have other peoples complaints about their doctors.
I went thru two years of repeated tests and biopsies while various doctors
tried to find out what was wrong with me.The insurance company never
quivered. When I was not pleased with the GI I was going to I expressed my
displeasure to my general practioner,Dr. Frankenstein and he sent me to a
medicaal school. The doctors there repeated all the tests, tried various new
ones and finally came up with a diagnosis. I have something so rare
apparently that I have to go to Canada for the medication.
If you have a GP talk to him about your problems,
If it is your insurance company that is providing the roadblocks you might
just have to put up with the situation.
Twelve years ago I went to a specialist who did not believe my self
diagnosis because I did not have the classic symptoms of CD. After months of
him trying to treat me for the wrong disease, I complained to Dr.
Frankenstein and was sent to the Uof Michigan where I was promptly
diagnossed.
Change doctors if you have a problem and your insurance company will allow
you to.
My doctors name is really Waldo Frankenstein. He is so old -fashioned that
he will still make a house call in an emergency. He is also capable of saying
he does not know all the answers and sending me to someone else when it is
necessary.
