I ran into a fellow celiac at physio and swapped some recipes.

She told me that Kelloggs had a new cereal "honey cornflakes" that were GF.
I said that they had malt flavoring and wouldn't be GF.  She said that a
chemist friend of hers said that Malt flavoring is an artificial flavoring
and would be GF.

Could anyone comment on this?  I have always been under the assumption that
anything with malt flavoring, malt syrup, malt anything would not be GF.
