Can anyone explain the difference between Celiac Disease, Gluten Sensitive
Enteropathy, transient gluten intolerance? Are the differences based on
whether or not a person has allergy to wheat or gluten? Is it possible to
have both celiac disease and wheat/gluten allergies? If a person has
transient gluten intolerance or wheat/gluten allergy, does that mean they do
not experience any damage to the villi? Also, why do so many physicians seem
to believe that celiacs are not really sick? It's understandable before a
celiac diagnosis since so many doctors are ignorant of CD, but even after a
confirmed diagnosis, they still seem to think it's insignficant, and they
continue to resist patient requests for things like nutritional evaluations
and bone density tests. Is it CD, or is it just nutrition in general?
