Thanks for the hints.
Most suggested that I call the caterers ahead of time (a week or two)
and talk to them about the menu and the possiblity of getting a separate
meal.
Three suggested that I just eat veggies. I can see where that could
still be a problem.
Five suggested I eat before hand "just in case".
Two suggested I brown bag it.
What will I do? I will call the caterer ahead and see what can be
worked out. I will nibble before but I"m dealing with several hours and
as a diabetic, this is not a great idea.
I always carry organic almonds in my purse. Nibble, nibble, nibble.
