"Spacey" reaction

Hello everyone,

On August 16th, our only daughter got married. At the ceremony, my
husband, our house Celiac, took wheat-based communion. He had no usual
Celiac reaction, not surprising because he is not particularly
sensitive. The next day, however, he was incredibly spacey. He
couldn't add numbers to save his soul and he was very forgetful and
emotional - not his style at all.

What I am questioning is, is this "day after your daughter's wedding
letdown" or could this be a Celiac reaction? Has anyone else had this
type of reaction? This is his first intentional cheat in 3 years, so I
have no basis of comparison. I would appreciate any information anyone
could give me.
