Hi,

I am a new member and this is my first posting, so only if you find
appropriate than only post following.

Please don't misunderstand following as if I am trying to preach or being
judgemental about anything or trying to hurt anybody's feeling.

My wife and my self are vegan by choice since more than 7 years. We
stopped consuming dairy product by choice. We use to love dairy products.
But according to our understandind human body is designed by nature not
to consume any bodies milk except own mother's milk during childhood.
That is why it seems so many persons are alergic to dairy products. Since
all humon beings are used to like and enjoy dairy product due to our
habits since childhood it is very much difficult to stop consuming it.

But according to our personal experience if we understand philosophicaly
that cow's milk is meant for cow's children and by consuming their milk
we must be depriving them of that milk and by consuming dairy products we
indirectly involve our self in harming cows, it becomes easier to leave
dairy products by choice. No other living cretures except human being
consumes other than own mother's milk.

We can get almost every milk product's replacement such as
soy/rice/almond milk, soy sour cream, soy mayonese. soy icecream, soy
cheese etc. Also we have experienced that by choice slowely our desire
subsides and craving goes away. Still some time we get tempted and miss
dairy products, but since we personaly consider cosuming milk is moraly
and phylosophically wrong we can control temptation and desire and it
gives us necessary strength. Hope this explanation and our experience
will help to address emotional pain.

By the way since we stopped consuming dairy products and started living
vegan life style, we are experiencing great physical, emotional benifits.
She is diabetics and I have kidney problem, but according to our doctor
and blood reports, we are doing much better now. This is not any proof or
scientific data and please consult qualified physician before any change
in individual life style and food habits.

I again truly urge not to take this as an advice or critisism but I am
sharing our personal experience and benifits.

With best regards.
