Try it for a few weeks and see what happens.  The rice may or may
not be causing problems.  One thing is certain, and that is that
without the rice he will be going very low-carb, and this will
tend to flatten any inflammation processes that may be going on
in his body.  This is because his insulin levels will be low,
whereas higher insulin levels tend to favor inflammatory
processes.  For most of us, the problem is to get our kids to eat
*enough* meat, to balance the high-carb foods that they prefer.
