Yes, assuming that you consume the right antioxidants in the
right amounts at the right times. The strategy of consuming
antidotes along with your poisons is probably preferable to
consuming poisons without antidotes, but perhaps not as good as
avoiding the poisons altogether.
Also, if there is anything to the claim that the polyunsaturates
inhibit thyroid activity, then the antioxidants won't help there.
But I haven't researched that claim.
