Just a brief report about how many older - in time - veterans of
celiac, from the 37 yr. veteran (73 years old) I had five or six replies,
one diagnosed 38 years ago, 2 at 25, one at 24 one At 23, one at 15 - ages
varied from 52 to late 70's. There must be more, though some may have died
by now. No word at all on annetto - Phyllis Brogdon, our wonderful head of
our support group states ANNETTO COLOR Because ethyl alcohol and/or caramel
color can be present in annatto color and is not declared, this ingredient
should be avoided unless it can be determined, by the manufacturer, that it
is gluten-free. So, a word to the wise. Barbara
