"Ora que", *a mi aures brasilian* me sembla facer un distinction inter
un stato presente e un altere passate. Exemplo:
"Ora que io es adulte, io pote facer toto lo que io sempre ha soniate
facer."
Me sembla:
"Viste que (ORA) io es adulte (como io non era ANTEA), io pote facer..."
Consequentemente, le phrase:
"Ora que le pastor non parlava anglese..."
Me sona como:
"Viste que le pastor in ille momento non parlava anglese (ben que ille
lo parlava antea)..."
