Hi.... Thanks to those of you who responded to my posting on low cholosterol
and CD... I did prepare a summary -- and alas, just as I was transferring it
from my work area to the mailbox, the computer bombed it, and I lost all of
the summary... and I had already erased your responses. So here's a summary
from my memory...
Some recommended books by Dean Ornish, MD or Ph.D; "Miracle Cures"; and
"McDougall Diet for a Healthy Heart".
Some said that there is no sense to taking cholosterol meds for an already low
cholosterol.
One spoke of hearing on ABC one day on concerns for low cholosterol, and that
a study is being made to investigate any such implications.
Some stressed the importance of exercise, food supplements, and diet. The
diet need to be high fiber such as grains, beans (not green), etc. It's a
challenge for CD and it's doable.
A few spoke of frustrating experiences with their MD's which has already been
discussed in the Listserve.
That's about it from my memory.
