The "Better than Milk" milk substitute was recently discussed on the
NO-MILK mailing list. It has been included in the CELIAC MILKALT FAQ, but
we have now found that the information in the FAQ is not fully clear. There
is says that it is dairy-free, which no mention of flavors. Not all
variants are dairy-free as the vanilla and other flavors have sodium
caseinate in them. Only the plain is dairy-free. The ingredient list that
is in the FAQ is for the plain.

Note that the other flavors may be labeled dairy-free, as it is legal in
the US to label something dairy-free when it is has casein in it.

Also we have found an 800 number for Sovex, the manufacturer, that is not
in the FAQ. It is 800-227-2320.
