site of the city of new york) the number you provided (212 604 7285) is an
emergency line to Saint Vincent's Hospital, from which the
rescue/emergency operations are being coordinated
people are also being told to go to the New School
(http://www.newschool.edu) to contact/re-unite with family-members, etc.
students have been evacuated to either PS 41 (116 west 11th street, off of
6th avenue - phone: 212 675 2756) or PS 3 (at christopher and hudson
streets/409 hudson street - phone: 212 691 1183)
