Our daughter, Michelle - now 2 1/2, first reacted this severely at 11 months.
Prior to that she just got a rash on her face and stomach and a tummy
ache. She was exposed to a slight amount of milk a few months ago and
just had a few hives. We are hoping that she will be one of the lucky
ones who will at least outgrow the life-threatening effects of the allergy.
It would be much less stressful if we knew that at least she wouldn't
die if by accident she got some dairy in her.

How do other people manage the expense of a toddler on soy or other non-dairy
beverage? She drinks gallons a week and we are becoming pennyless!
