BTW, there are a few truly non-dairy "non-dairy creamers". You'll find them
alongside of the dairy-derived ones in the refridgerator section of some
stores. They'll be marked "pareve" (certified dairy free by rabbis who
monitor that as a religious restriction for those who keep kosher).
Unfortunately, they're mostly soy-derived, and that's my other major food
allergy :-S
