This is a bit late, but I wanted to add my daughter's experience
with antibiotics and allergies. Amoxicillan liquid seems to be
OK, allergy-wise, although it upsets her stomach so she doesn't eat
much for the 10 days.

Zithromax is wonderful, and we always request it now (haven't needed
one since last winter, though). She got a few hives from Septra (sulfa)
and was very unhappy with Suprax. I now just remind our doctor that
she doesn't tolerate the others well at all, and let's start with
Zithromax. They don't like to call things allergies unless it's hives,
so I don't bother with the semantics...

Laurie (and Alyssa, allergic to dairy, egg, peanut and sulfa antibiotics,
and ibuprofen)
