DT: Re: chocolate

The only thing that I could think of as to why some people react to the
above is probably because it is cross contaminated somewhere on the
line. I agree that with small children they could get confused with safe
chocolate and unsafe but we should give our children more credit because
from such a young age they have learned to understand the meaning of
why some things are safe and some are not. My daughter understands that
just because I can make SAFE chocolate that does not mean anyone else
can.

Most children that have had milk allergies have never had chocolate
therefore they probably won't like the taste anyways - it is one of
those foods - believe it or not - that you must aquire a taste for.

The chocolate chips that I have been talking about have gone through
very strict measures to keep them safe. Simply Yummy would never use
them if their was the slightest trace of cross contamination. They are
made from pure cocoa and I will put the ingredients on the site when I
get them from the company. With having an anaphylactic child I would
never consider a product like this unless I could be totally convinced
that they were safe. I can provide proof from A & J's Specialty Foods if
anyone requires it. I can also forward you their phone number if
required.

This company is dedicated in providing these specialty foods for people
with milk, egg, and nut allergies.

Hope this has helped
