Regarding nerve damage associated with "overdoses" of B6:
I take a B complex tablet each day, which is, presumably,
designed as a balanced supplement; the B6 component is 100 mg. I have taken
these for many years, without any *apparent* ill-effects. So:
1. What, according to the neurologists mentioned in one posting, is a
safe dosage?
2. what are the symptoms of peripheral nerve damage?
3. are there clinical studies available that verify this side-effect?
Another poster made the important point that, if one has some
permanently damaged villi, then everything ingested must be in larger amounts
to compensate. I think gastroenterologists would agree.
Is there a physician, or biochemist, on the list who could provide
more information on this?
Thank you!
John Wiseman
