I wrote a few weeks (or months?) ago about my CD/Asthma connection -- time to
repeat it.

I have had asthma, bronchitis, repeated pneumonia bouts and no end of upper
respiratory hell all my life. Less than two months into the gluten free
diet the whole issue all but went away.

I still get occasional feelings reminiscent of asthma. I attribute them to
either stress or a dietary blooper. A 15-minute effort at relaxation makes
it go away if stress is the cause. When it seems to be dietary, it is only a
"partial" sort of asthma, bothering me only somewhat when I exercise hard
(running after my escaping dog). It hasn't been frightening or threatening
since I went on this diet. And I no longer have to take the $500 a month
worth of medications I used to take!
