Hello, list!
We read in the archives that Rice Dream is NOT gluten-free because they use
barley water in the processing (see Bill Elkus's 15 Feb 1996 post on this
topic).
We wonder whether there exists a comprehensive list of milk substitutes and
their GF status. Here in L.A., the alternatives are generally Soy-Um,
Almond Mylk, Pacific Rice Milk, and of course Rice Dream. No doubt there
are variants on the theme throughout the country. We'd be delighted to
post all responses.
