After much frustration and arguing, the doctors decided to test
for Celiac. Essentially, if ya don't have the runs, then you don't
have a problem with gluten/Celiac. I've been gluten free from 6
months. They will do a fatty stool test only in two weeks. To
quote,"This IS the only test we do and there will be no others if
it is negative." I stated, "Most places don't run the test the right
way. My information is that one has to know the exact amount of
fat gram input for a couple days so a comparison can be made.
" The reply, "Wrong, there should be zero fat in the stool." Eat a
normal diet.

So, Here I sit eating regular toast with meatballs made that include
breadcrumbs. Should be interesting? to see what happens today.

The question: Given that I have no choice to see or be seen by
another medical institution bacause of Medicaid, any suggestions
on how to maximize the potential for this test giving a positive or
even a valid value?
