Can someone tell me the difference between distilled vinegar and alcohol vs
vinegar and alcohol without the distilled word added? Is there really a
difference or is it just the wording that is different?

The Canadian Celiac Association allows both distilled vinegars and alcohols
and therefore I follow their guidelines.

There has been much discussion on this topic previously and to me it seems
that if it makes you react - then you should avoid it but it doesn't
necessarily mean that all celiacs should avoid it.

My two cents worth.
