Dear list members and Joe in Chicago,

I sent your questions to Kelly who works for a travel agency. She gave
me the following info and is currently doing more research to see is she
can help.

> 2. Is a good hotel in the immediate vicinity of Disneyworld?
> We would be very interested in a hotel with a small
> refrigerator and/or access to a microwave for storage and
> preparation of a quick GF meal?

Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites has a mini kitchen

> 3. Is a restaurant in the immediate Disneyworld area reliably
> capable of preparing a GF meal for a 4 year old?

She has contacted the tourist board and waiting for information.

> 4. Are food services within Disneyworld able to provide GF
> foods? If so, where are they and what do they serve? Does
> DW have a GF list of the foods they serve?

Will let us know when she finds out.

I also discussed the problems we have getting GF foods on airlines.
Kelly tells me that in addition to requesting a GF meal, there is
another way to request special meals -- by giving a special request for
a particular food item! She gave the following suggestion:

Grilled meat, poultry, or fish -- no sauces, no additives
   plain fruit
(ABSOLUTLY NO WHEAT, OATS, BARLEY OR RYE)

Kelly says she is unsure how detailed we can get with the special
request, but she will let us know what she finds out. Hope this helps
