I have been told by my internal medicine doctor that as long as there
were no medical studies available involving female hormones AND Fosomax
combined that it would not be a good idea at this time to take both. He felt
hormones would be more beneficial. Weight-bearing exercise and plenty of
calcium (supplements if the diet is not rich enough in calcium and vitamin
D) should be sufficient. Is it possible that hidden gluten is being
eaten and therefore no bone density improvement? Lynn
