The enriched version of Rice Dream is only a couple of years old, some people
still don't know about it. The regular original kind really doesn't have much
nutrition. It doesn't come close to the protein and fat found in cow's (or goat's,
or even soy) milk. That's why it's not appropriate for infants, and except for
the calcium, A & D, doesn't give much to toddlers either, who need protein and
fat in their diet.

I'd like to second this idea - although if you're on this list you're ahead
of where I was when nursing Alyssa and trying to get rid of her excema, colic
and spitting. I had no idea dairy could be hidden in so many foods. I "eliminated"
obvious dairy with little response... "next time" I'll know more, and likely go
dairy/egg/peanut free while nursing just in case! I already do this at home, just
because life is easier since Alyssa eats that way. But, I still eat out and lunch
in the cafeteria without concern for allergens...
