Please, Kathleen, go to a health food store, and pick up Prescription for
Nutritional Healing. This book is a wonder resource, with insights on the
correct supplements, their uses, and their sources. Broccoli is a wonder
source of calcium, Tums are not. In all of the 100 books I have purchased
since my son's diagnosis of autism, never have  I see the recommendation for
Tums.... never.
As one listmate put, he would much prefer getting his nutrients from food
sources... I dream of the day this will be enough for my son, who has had
some severe deficiencies.. including calcium.
