Maria,
Don't even try to force yourself to tolerate milk once again. I am LI and
once tried for months to "teach" my body to again accept different
dairy foods. It was not fun. Hemorrhoids and "irritable bowel", etc. made
me give up the quest. Either start using Lactaid or a similar product, or
minimize or give up dairy altogether -- those are, in my opinion, your only
choices.
