There's a big difference between kosher and pareve. I'll have to read a
label next time I'm at the store, but I suspect the above announcement is
just that Oreos are now kosher dairy...and still off-limits for people on
this list. Last time I looked, I think the bad ingredient was
whey...which would probably be an easy ingredient to remove from the
recipe.
